Got the Cheek Rest. Installed in less than 10 minutes.
Set it on the stock where I wanted it, checked for bolt clearance, traced the slots on the stock with a pencil, removed the rest, measured 1 3/4" down on each side of the stock and drilled holes on each side. Holes lined up less than a 32nd off. I installed the rest, ran the bolts through, set the height, and tightened it up. Probably took longer to type this than it did to install.
I got to shoot with it today. If you recall I told you about my nephew's "plastic" cheek rest (from Desert Warrior or something like that) started giving way when it got warm. Well we broke 110 degrees today and yours works great!!! Not a sign of give at all!!!! The cheek rest had to have gotten well over 110 as it sat in the sun for quite a while between shoots.
