Using stabilized wood is an important detail in grip making and shouldn't be underestimated for the benefit of cutting the prod.costs down and quicker delivery(Yup, they exist).I sometimes receive unstabilized wood and I have to do it myself(not avaliable comercially here)Long and slow process...up to 8 weeks of soaking in a special mixture in accordance with the wood amount and room temprature. All for the quality and reputation.

Hand carving the grip panels with the help of Dremel.I know there are CNCs and router bit attached drill presses(which functions as CNCs)does this part of the work within minutes and help to have quicker turn-around of the grips...but I personally don't think they desereved to be called "Handcrafted" or "Customized" grips...just my opinion as a custom grip maker.

Fine adjustments...I had to take away some wood from the edge there.
